If you answered yes, then VDK wants to partner with you. Protecting our country and our communities is a team effort. We are seeking motivated individuals that want to volunteer their time raising and training a future working canine. Your time will have a direct effect in our local communities, at our ports of entry, and at our transportation hubs.

By fostering a VDK puppy, you will be helping to secure our communities, nation and the citizens within.
These puppies will grow to work in many different disciplines ranging from service work to single and dual purpose police dogs. Many dogs go on to protect our countries borders and ports of entry.
Prospective applicants can expect to open their homes to a puppy for eight months to a year. Breeds will range from Labradors, and other sporting breeds, to German Shepherds, Dutch and Belgian Shepherds.
Preference is given to those that can routinely visit our headquarters in Jasper, GA.
